Body Size Guide
Below are the body measurements we use as a guide to create our styles during the design process. Our clothes are designed based on a woman whose height is 5 ft 6 - 5 ft 7 (168 - 170 cm).
The fit of a garment varies depends on the style. You can find garment measurements in the "size & measurements" tab in each garment page.

Unfortunately, the factory has mislabelled our latest batch of denim pleated jeans, so most pairs have the wrong size label sewn in. They have also been made in 1cm waist increments, rather than our usual sizing.
We have discounted them to reflect this issue.
Please note that the size shown on the garment label may not match the actual size of the jeans. We will send the size you order, but in most cases the sewn-in label may show a different size.
The quality and fit are as good as always; only the labelling and sizing differ from our usual size chart. Please refer to the detailed size chart below for detailed measurements.
Designed with a wider fit at the hips and legs, Eigg offers a relaxed, easy silhouette. It features double front pleats for a more relaxed silhouette. This pair is crafted from robust 12oz pure cotton denim in a dark wash, finished with classic yellow stitching.

Machine wash cold with similar colours - Do not bleach - Do not tumble dry - Low temperature iron - Do not dry clean
The perfect fit! Comfortable with a unique cut. Good weight to the denim too.
I wish they did these in a dark wash and black and I'd get a pair of each without hesitation! They are proper denim not flimsy stretchy pretend denim, but they arent heavy or stiff. They are so comfy, loose fitting and can be worn full length or turned up. If I was being super critical the front pockets could be a little wider, but these are my absolute favourite jeans.

Super comfortable and they look good
Great jeans. I don’t normally wear jeans as I just never find them comfortable and don’t feel my pear-shaped body looks good in them. However, after reading the reviews about these, I decided to try them.
I was surprised by how nice they look on, and even more surprised that the length isn’t too long on me at 5ft 4inches. Though I did wear them with a slight turnup. I think I’ll get a lot of wear out of these jeans.

I am always on the lookout for pleated front trousers (usually difficult to find), and this is the second pair I have bought from Forgotten Tribes (I bought lovely green corded ones last year). Again the trousers are well-made, fit well and the material is soft and comfortable. The ordering process was straightforward, and the trousers arrived in a surprisingly short time given the proximity to Christmas.

Really nice pair of jeans. I thought they would have a more elasticated waist than they do in reality. However, I am pleased with them.
I bought these Jeans as a Birthday present for My niece, the first pair were too big so I returned them and opted for a size below, the process was easy and fast and the replacement pair arrived promptly. They are a lovely cut and excellent quality, fitting my Niece just perfectly ! . They also look smart and are in keeping with the modern style. She is delighted and so am I. My god I love these jeans. Got them this week and have worn them every day. Since having my baby almost a year and a half ago I have struggled to dress to my new body shape. These jeans are structured yet comfy, they look both smart and casual, and they have such a good weight to them. This was my first order and you know have a customer for life!

I’m really pleased with these pleated jeans, they’re well made with a good finish (just as they appear in the ads). They are a little loose on me, so they’re a slightly big size 14, but they will fit perfectly after Christmas. The leg length is spot on, I’m 5’ 8” and can fold them up a little for an ankle length. Nice deep pockets too

Fabulous jeans. Perfect fit on a 14/16 body who likes their clothes fairly loose. Special feature of the elasticated side panels on the waist were a bonus and make the fit more comfortable. The denim material is lovely - very soft but of a good weight and drapes perfectly. Slightly too long for me at 5’7” but I can turn them up if I wish. Altogether a very good purchase and can see I will be getting lots of wear out of these. I’m new to this company and just loving their clothes.
